Re: waterproof cockpit/ha

I can't say that I've had my CH17's out in heavy weather, but I have done some rolling in them and the hatches do keep the water out. I followed the standard design with a lip around the opening and raised hatches w/ weather stripping under the hatch and held on with straps (webbing). Seems to work just fine. The cockpit depends on the kind of spray skirt you use. I have taken some green water over the forward hatch on occasion and, again, not a problem.
