It floats

Chesapeake 17 built from plans.

Tried the boat on Black Creek in Churchville, NY today. No deck rigging, hatches need final coat of epoxy, the whole thing needs final sanding, no paint, no varnish, still need to final fit the hatches, back band didn't stay in place, duct tape for hatch pulls.......

It is going to the Adirondacks next week for camping so I needed to test it. Very fast, easy to keep straight. I think that I want to add a skeg. We had a lot of wind today.
