that's a good question,,my gut sense is no just because it'll be so incredibly strong with 3/4" (four layers of 4mm) of hatch hole reinforcement.

of course that goes back to the 4oz on the deck with nothing underneath in that space between the cockpit and aft hatch. If you're over 200lbs and intending on rescues it couldn't hurt to put something under there,,but if you're light or the use is light there's no great need. But the difference is about 3oz of glass and epoxy. There's a reason the Arctic Hawk kit specifies under deck glass behind the cockpit.
