Yeah, the 13 is much more versatile. I'd go with that for now. Easier to build from plans, should you choose to go that route now that you have more experience

At some point, you may want to build a Sass 12 or maybe even a modified CH 14 like I built for my wife. If your wife has a boat she can easily lift by herself, she may be inclined to use it even more.

Just a thought. Enjoy it, because I don't have many.
