Shearwater ClassCount us among those who thought that Voice of America was a Cold War institution.  It's not, it's a huge and thoroughly modern multi-media outfit that broadcasts weekly to 134 million people via radio and television.  And a few weeks ago, they appeared at CLC to film a short clip about us.  Our attempts to hear what an explanation of stitch-and-glue boatbuilding sounds like in Hindi (one of 38 VOA television broadcast languages) were thwarted because we couldn't navigate the Hindi-language section of the VOA website.

But you can watch the English-language version by clicking here.  They caught us in the middle of Eric Schade's Build Your Own Shearwater class, which the editors at VOA managed to edit to look like it was John's class.  It wasn't---they apologized to Eric.  Enjoy!
