Chesapeake Light Craft Annapolis, Maryland We've been holding classes at our Annapolis factory since 1998. Heated, air conditioned, and completely equipped, in our classroom we've turned out hundreds and hundreds of boats. We're a short, pleasant walk from a B&B. Founded in 1694, Annapolis is the home of the US Naval Academy and was briefly (1783) the capital of the United States, and many of the buildings from that era survive. Annapolis calls itself the "sailing capital of the world" and the fresh Chesapeake Bay seafood is delectable.

| Wooden Boat Foundation Port Townsend, Washington After years of requests, we're excited to be offering build-your-own-boat classes in the Pacific Northwest. Hosted by the Wooden Boat Foundation, you'll build boats in the heart of the vibrant seaport and working waterfront of Port Townsend, Washington. Classes in 2012 are back at the lavishly equipped Northwest Maritime Center. It's right on the historic waterfront, heated in cool weather and completely equipped for boatbuilding. Spaulding Wooden Boat Center The Spaulding Wooden Boat Center (SWBC) acts as a host site for organizations to hold classes.
