Hello All! I am looking to get into some kayak fishing. Would the Wood Duck 12 be the best design to rig for fishing? If anyone has any personal experience with fishing from the Wood Duck that would be great. This kayak will be used in all types of water. From lakes to ocean.

I just finished a millcreek 13 and found it to be a great boat to fish from. i really like the big cockpit it makes it easier to keep all my stuff where i can get to it. i don't know about fishing in the ocean the big cockpit might be a problem then.

Don't know if it's the best, but I certainly have used it successfully for fishing. It's light enough to be pulled by a 3 lb catfish.
