I'm getting ready to apply varnish, primer, and paint. In the Tips for Boatbuilders section, in regards to primer application, it states:
"To avoid moisture build-up, apply it only on dry days, and apply your finish coats as soon as the primer is cured and sanded."
Question is...exactly how dry does it have to be? I live in Florida, and the humidity can be high during the summer months. Does this mean I have to wait until next winter to finish?

I think that warning is specific to the Interlux primer. Other primers, such as System 3's SilverTip Yacht Primer, that use a different chemistry aren't bothered by humidity (other than drying a bit more slowly.
