Smart Track Rudder System on Shearwater

I just received my Shearwater Hybrid kit. I ordered the smart track rudder system to go with it. At this time I have not even done an inventory, but I have been perusing the manual and various bits of instructions. I find the mounting instructions for the rudder as a bit foggy. I have looked thru the photo gallery on the CLC website for the shearwater 17 and find no pictures of an installed rudder to give me some hints. Is there anyone out there who has installed this rudder system on a Shearwater. If so, can you share some guidance and / or some pictures. All input will be appreciated.

Can we assume the footbrace part of the job is understandable? I was a little squeamish about drilling such a large hole in the narrow stern of my CLC 18. On calling support I was told they have a bracket for about 20 bucks that made mounting simple. I suggest a call to support and get the bracket.
