Thanks, St. Pete's!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to the demo today in St. Pete's.  We had quite a crowd---more than 60 tried boats between 11 and 4---great weather, decent launch spot, and generous support from Russell, Jean, Greta, and the rest of the team at Sweetwater Kayaks.  Please check out Sweetwater when you're in town---a terrific store and nice people.

Also thanks to the folks who hung out for a slideshow by a sunburnt John.

Next up:  our demo at the Atlanta Rowing Club.  See you there!

RE: Thanks, St. Pete's!

Thank You John, and your team for coming down to the Sunshine State.  I enjoyed the demo, and the slideshow/pointers to building a very nice kayak. My buddy and I are going to build a pair of Millcreek 16.5, and probably more in the future. This will be my first boat building experience, looking forward to the challenge. Thanks again.

Thank YOU, John, for all the good information.

RE: Thanks, St. Pete's!

As of this morning, a slight chance of thunderstorms is forecast for Atlanta on the 19th.  Let's hope that is as accurate as for the outdoor wedding in Orlando I attended a couple weeks ago.  Rain was forecast all week, and it ended up being a beautiful day!
