I'm building the TW, and this evening filleted my previously attached skeg. As I'm looking at it, I'm wondering if the front of the skeg should be feathered down to a point, or should there be the flat expanse of the bottom and then all of the sudden, the 1/2" front of the skeg jutting up out of the bottom? The instructions don't mention anything.

I would probably taper it or round it off a bit so if you ran into anything it wouldn't grind to a halt. You would think there would also be less turbulence / drag with it rounded off.
