Should I trim installed bulkhead
Hi There,
I would really appreciate a wod of advice before I go ahead and whip out the bonsai saw to attack my bulkbeads. Since installing them I have felt they sat a little proud, but haven't wanted to do anything until I had planed the sheer clamps. Having done so it seems to me they will foul up my deck installatioin unless I shave a few mm of them. Can anyone assure advise me as to whether this is indeed the correct approach?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Mike,
yes, I would trim it to your deck radius guide. Otherwise the deck won't secure properly to the shear clamp in that area. I had something similar on my CH18, though not quite that much to take off. I used a hand plane to correct it. Dave
