I noticed that the bulkhead in the woodduck 12 is higher on one side, unfortunately I noticed it after it was filleted in, any suggestions on how I can trim her down, the bulkhead mated perfectly at the hull no gaps,hmmmmm taking suggestions....

Ok I will do that, I guess being it is a hybrid, maybe I can use the form that holds the combing ring, thanx for your suggestion....

Hey Ocean... I added a bulkhead forward of the foot braces on my Wood Duck 12. To get the proper, and equal contour, take a strip of door skin (About $7.00 at most lumber yards) and cut a 5" wide strip that is about a foot longer than your kayak is wide. Secure one end and then bend it over the aft bulkhead. With a block plane, shave off JUST A LITTLE and check again. Do this a few times and you will end up with a perfect fit, ready to be glassed. ~BRUCE~

Put the deck on, see how high it is and trim to fit. Had to do the same with my Shearwater Double no big deal.
