Re: Epoxy over Veneer?

Three most excellent posts in a row, each with their succeeding good points. All are well worth listening to in my sometimes humility-challenged opinion.

Joey is the king of the onlay, won best of show at CLC's OkoumeFest last June. I was there, and can see why, too. Laszlo is as practical a boat builder as any I know, and not subject to needless extravagance on his way to the water's edge. I admire both their styles. I haven't met Doug - yet - but can enthusiastically endorse his suggestion of using lighter cloth (2 oz). It'll be far easier to apply and fill, and as he says, weigh less.

Glad to hear you're back on track. Lord knows I've had a few setbacks in my time, too.

Cheers, Kurt
