footbraces now or later?

Posted by Bill Lapcevic on Jun 20, 2006

Hi,

Another quick question. I've been reading somewhere that it is often easier to install things like footbraces prior to putting the deck on. This intuitively makes sense to me...anything I can do to prevent from having to climb into a very small space is GOOD.

I have the metal (aluminum?) CLC footbrace kit. My next step is the deck beams and then I put on the deck. Do I put the footbraces in NOW? or Later?

If Now, how do I tell where they should go given I don't exactly know where the cockpit will be...

Thanks,

Bill
