I have two concerns with not fill coating the hull immediately after glassing it. One - I want the fill coat to bond without snading the wetout coat. Two - It is easier to feather the edge of the deck cloth lap without sanding throuh the hull cloth with the (then sanded) fill coats in place.

I wet out on a Friday night with slow hardener and then apply four fill coats on Saturday with fast hardener. All done in 24 hours and NO SANDING. Enough of that comes later.
