You want to use a 10% volume to volume measurement. I very strongly advise you to add Cab-o-sil to the graphite mixture. Use just enough Cab-o-sil so that your mixture stays runny. The Cab-o-sip ingredient will make the graphite surface considerably harder and more scratch/gouge resistant. I jhave been testing this mixture all summer and it is holding out well under extreme conditions. I have deliberately rammed my hull over sharp rock ledges and gravel beds and caused only moderately deep scratches instead of what used to be damage to wood through the glass finish.

If you have already done the graphite layer, layer on the mix I suggest on top of that, it will work just as well.
