...Yeah. Learned a thing or two along the way also. I drew the design on vellum, used old fashion carbon paper (used in the old days for type writers, getting hard to find). Then used a scapel to cut thru the top layer of the plywood. This severes the fibers and limits bleeding over. Lightly sanded the carbon lines, retraced the score marks, stain. Lessons learned: 1.Don't apply any other colors until the last color applied is dry. 2. Rescore lines before staining ajoining neighboring colors (the stain will fill the scapel score lines). 3. Don't use Pre stain conditioners, they also will fill the scapel cuts. 4. Let your imagination run wild.
