Sharpening

Posted by Dave Houser on Jan 21, 2005

Leonard Lee of Lee Valley Tools wrote "The Complete Guide to Sharpening" a great book on the subect. He sells all anyone would need to sharpen tools. You will have trouble finding a waterstone that coarse. Aluminum oxide oil stones are more typical.

The cheap solution is wet/dry sand paper on glass. Read Scary Sharp http://www.shavings.net/SCARY.HTM#original
