Re: A good grade

Nope, I haven't read any other kayak building books other than Nick Shade's book that came with the plans I bought for his Night Heron. I learned quite a lot about building by reading the threads at the Guillemot site. There's a ton of years of experience from builders of both S&G and strip kayaks, not to mention what I garner from builders who use other materials and techniques, SOF (skin on frame) to mention one of them.

My garage floor is by no means level. I added slices of wood under the legs of the horses until I got the tops of the horses level.

What I really need over here is a heated garage. My mother has a huge heated garage but to use it means I would not be home much and the wife and kids wouldn't like that a whole heckofa lot.
