On my Ch17, I tabbed between the stitches, upto about 6-8" from the two ends. When the tabs were hardened, I removed all stitches. This made it easy to fillet the bow and stern, as I could seperate the panels a little, spread the glue along the inside edges. Spring clamps were used to hold the panels together. Then a thin fillet tool was used to form a smooth fillet.
