I'm using the clc flush mounting kit for the hatches. I didn't like the metal J hooks, so I made these doodads. Hopefully they'll held the hatches keep their shape too
You may want to drill an extra hole to tie a tether line to, that way you cant lose the hatches. You may also want to put 2 of the hook forms on the larger hatch. I did something very similar on the king I built, and will on my on going build as well. I liked it that much.
