wood duck-----blistered glass & epoyy

CAN ANYONE OUT THERE ANSWER MY QUESTION SUBMITTED ON MAY 4, CONCERNING THE LIFTING OF THE GLASS & EPOXY IN SPOTS   MISTAKENLY, ONLY HARDENER WAS USED, THEN I TRIED TO REMOVE IT WITH ACETONE, LET DRY, & USED CORRECTLY MIXED EPOXY .  NOW FIBERGLASS IS LIFTING IN SEVERAL SMALL AREAS AFFECTED.  WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

RE: wood duck-----blistered glass & epoyy

The only thing I can think of is to cut out what is lifting, sand down to clean wood and patch it up.

This hull will be primed and painted. Patchwork would show through a clear finish.

Some lessons are learned the hard way. At least what is wrong can be fixed. That is very good news. Be happy.

Maybe a 2 color scheme for hull and deck would really make for a nicely finished boat.

you know I've made so many mistakes with my build that I'm just going to leave the scars and get on with it, gives the boat a little character.

If you do a careful job with feathering the patches, the "scars" can be very nrealy invisible.
