Annapolis Wherry in Philly Area?
I'm in the Philly area and would like to try an Annapolis Wherry for a weekend during a rowing workshop. Anyone in the area willing to rent one for 3 days?
Thanks,
Chris

Does that rent include the special oarlock fittings?

Laszlo -
Turns out that this Annapolis wherry single is not really suitable for conversion to forward rowing owing to its seat spacing relative to the COG. (I looked at both sliding-seat and sliding rigger approaches -no deal.) It's a legroom issue that would apply to any FR system,
Anyone curious to try FR with a CLC kit should look to the tandem wherry which works great because it doesn't have flat seats. The Chester Yawl - with no seats at all - would probably make for a good install as well.
