To rabbet or not to rabbet? plank #1 Eastport Nesting Pram
Hi, i started to build my Eastport Nesting Pram from plans. Im at the stage of making rabbets on the planks. The manual says "no rabbet on plank #1". The plan for plank #1 has a dotted line that says "inside edge of rabbet". What does this mean? To rabbet or not, thats the question... or is this dotted line just a guiding line where the two planks meet? Who can help me out? Camiel, Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Interesting. My manual says "the bottom panel and plank #1 are not rabbeted." Older manual and newer plans?

hi Cody, you were right! I also got in touch with CLC Customercare. They helped me out. My manual was out of date and i got a new one.
In the new version it says indeed only the bottom plank has no rabbet.

Per the manual page 17, it is the bottom panel that is not rabbetted, plank 1 is rabbetted.
