Cleanup after sanding epoxy for mechanical bond?

I'm working on my Northeaster Dory. I have a single coat of epoxy on the boat. It's been several weeks, so I have to sand this coat before putting my next layer of epoxy on. After I'm done sanding, do I leave the "sanding dust" on the boat, or do I wipe it down before applying the next coat? If I wipe it down, should I just use a cloth? Or a cloth wetted with denatured alcohol?

RE: Cleanup after sanding epoxy for mechanical bond?

Give it a good vacuuming, if you can, with a duster attachment.  Then, maybe after waiting for a bit for the dust to settle (the vacuum exhaust can stir up dust in the room), give her a good wipe down with denatured alcohol on a clean rag.
