Hi

i had a helper mixing as i spread.  Culminated in patches of mostly but not quite hardened epoxy-strange that it didnt get total hard after couple days.  Its good to the touch two days later but sand it and it spreads like glue.  I have been sanding the runs out and the glue like feeling is dissipating however i have sanded through on a couple spots on chines. Theyre about an inch or less each and on an edge.  
will future epoxy coats seal these small areas?  Not sure how to cover it appropriately without a huge piece if glass.  I don't care to do that if not needed - it would add mass weight and seemingly de-balance surface.  Here is hoping for better options....thank you.
