We're ready to position the forms for our WD 14.  The manual states that they should be placed 12" apart.  I may be making this more complicated than necessary but is that 12"from the tip of the bow to the front edge of the first form?  To the center of the first form?

For subsequent forms, is it then 12" from center to center or 12" from the aft edge of forward form to the front edge of the next form back?

Or do we just position them at roughly 12" apart such that they fit within the hull and the deck lines end up fair?
