I am thinking of starting a Mill Creek 16.5 build this summer.

I may want to sail in sometime in the future, but not right away.

Should I get the sailing hardware kit and install at the time I am building? -- or is it easy to install later.

I assume that the mast step etc. would be easier to install during the initial build.

Let me hear from you Mill Creek people on how you like it as a sailing kayak.
