I know this is rather red neck but I really had a good time with this build about 20 years ago and now I am redoing the ribs because dispite my efforts to keep them out of the weather they finally became so rotted that I decided to replace them with some plastic ribs I made from pvc pipe that I flattened and then heated and bent to the shape of the canoe. I had it painted to look like a birch bark but most of the paint has worn off. When I find paint that will work well for HDPE plastic I will repaint it. I will also have to weld the seams and put in a better seat. Here is The first video of a series I am working on.  Only two videos so far.
