Laid down fiberglass months ago. How do I prep for second coat?
I glassed the cockpit of my Southwester months ago and am now ready to fill the weave. I’m concerned to much time has passed for good adhesion. Should I be worried? Is the first fully cured coat rough enough on microscopic level for good adhesion. I don’t really want to sand the single coat of epoxy introducing all that dust to the weave before applying the second and subsequent coats.
Thanks for reading!

I would go over it with a scotch brite pad, vacuum the surface than a quick wipe down with denatured alcohol. ...and you should be ready to go. The work with the pad does not need to be particularly aggressive...just to introduce some scratches into the surface for a better mechanical bond. H
