I bought this CLC kit a few years ago to build with my teenage son, sort of a mother-son bonding experience.

Well, the son soon got a girlfriend, and mama was left alone with a full cup of curing epoxy....3 years later, the girlfriend is still around and so is the half built Sassafras.

I have made my peace with it and am now selling whole kit for a crazy price. It was originally $1,300. The canoe is stitched and almost completely glued together. It appears well balanced. I would say it's 25-30% done. See the photos.

I'd love to get $500, but I'm willing to consider offers so I can close the chapter and move on!
