minor finishing touch up question
I applied my 5th and final coat of helmsman spar urethane to the hull yesterday. I noticed a spot I missed along the sheer line, roughly 1/2" x 4" long. It's a dull spot from the wet sanding before the coat.
Should I try to touch it up, or is better to leave it? If I do touch it up should I thin the urethane?

I'll reassess it at lunch time, it may not be as noticable as I think.
Here's what it's looking like. Lots of minor flaws but for a first time build I'm very pleased. The deck has 6 coats, the last 2 coats have a satin finish. The hull has 5 coats.

If it bothers you, just touch up the area of concern. You can thin if you did before, just don't use to much urethane so as to avoid the dreaded drips.
