The manual says glue the coming flush with the bottom of the carlins, but the carlins are not straight-when test fitting the coming is flush at the aft end of the carlins, dips below the carlins amidships, and above the bottom of the carlins forward. Should I trim the bottom of the coaming amidships and sand the top of the coaming forward? Also, does anyone 'glass their coaming? Thanks!

Thanks, Ralph-that makes sense, I had not thought about paddle damage.

I'm at about the same point in my build and noticed the same issue on my MC16.5. Can't help, but interested in your solution.

I can't answer about the coming on the Mill Crk 13 being flush but I do suggest glassing the coaming. The coamings tend to get wear from paddles.
