Just trying some ideas out loud. I have seen some great removable surf board skews and wondered if one can be used for an Oxford shell.                                                   

Would the tracking be the same, better or not good?

They seem to be a straight forward installation like the kit supplied  skeg only look like they are better engineered - maybe?

I like the idea of snapping a damaged skeg out and snapping a new one back in instead of cutting out silicone and pulling out the CLC skeg then needing to silicone a new one in and waiting for it to set up.

Any thoughts to this idea - bad or indifferent, just looking for some feedback if possible.
