Rough hold solutions

This is the second boat I've built and after epoxying the holds, they're kind of rough, especially where the glass weave was thicker and or rolled up a little bit.  I just left them on my first boat and they never caused a problem.  With the SW, I've lightly sanded down the rough spots but if I add another coat of epoxy or even some varnish to knock off the white areas, I'm adding more weight.  Any suggestions on how to make the insides of the hull look better without adding much weight?

RE: Rough hold solutions

Oh, you already know the answer to this one:  More sanding!  :-)  I assume you mean interiors of tanks under the decks.  I just sanded mine  on my skerry enough to not gouge myself when I reach in to get something under there.     The biggest problem I had were hardened blobs on the inside from when I glued and filleted the seats onto the tank.  If I couldn't reach them, I didn't bother.  But then I was really hot to get the boat splashed by that point and was losing any perfectionist streak I had.
