I painted my new hull with BS one part white . 3 months later I noticed spots appearing on the surface throughout the entire hull. Sanding would not remove them. They are bleeding up to the surface. I lightly sanded a small section and repainted with 3 coats. Following winter storage I see they have reappeared. Areas painted yellow appear to be fine, it's only the white.

RE: Spotting paint
yes it was a new build. I only used soap and water prior to applying primmer. Getting photos on this site is a little beyond me. Could i e mail them to you? [email protected]
Thanks

Dan,
sounds like a contamination issue....(something underneath the new paint) but you said it was a new hull. can you clarify if you were painting over bare expoxy....was there any prep or wash that you applied?
it would also be useful to see a picture....we might be able to sort it out more quickly that way.
