Workign on my Wood Duck Double (14). The cockpit combing comes in a few pieces. Shoud these be joined with epoxy prior to palcement on the assembly? I ask as the instructions state that you shoud place it on but never mentions glueing up prior.

Wonderful! This also shows me how if I want to stain the cockpit that I need to do this before the epoxy.

Here's how I did mine. I assembled and glued the pieces on the boat, but not to the boat. That let me take it off and sand and fillet it without having to worry about the hull interfering. Then, when everything else except the varnishing was done, I glued the coaming to the cockpit rim.
