I have started to build my new Passagemaker Dinghy and have discovered an annoying problem which I now call "epoxy creep". While spreading the epoxy on my planks and being ever so careful with drips off the edges I have discovered that it creeps under the plank regardless and creates another round of sanding. I now put some Short sticks under the planks and the problem goes away. Thanks, John

RE: Epoxy goofs
Can you explain this issue in a little more detail...and what you mean by using "short sticks" to deal with it...for one who is about at the same stage on another Passagemaker?
Thanks!

Ah, the power of "wicking", otherwise known as caplillary action. At least you found the solution. Now that PMDBuilders.net is kaput, I'd love a place to congregate, PMD-style. I'm about to start my take-apart.
