Northeaster Dory with larger 89 sq ft lug sail for sale
I have had my dory for three years and it has served me well. Completely revarnished and repainted with both the standard 62 sq ft tanbark lug sail and the 89 sq ft sail for even more power and speed. Reef points on both sails. Asking $3500. Boat is in southern california. I placed an ad on craigslist under los angeles with pictures....thanks john lizardi

I have seen your posts, I am finishing up a NE Dory now.
Would you recommend the RSS 89 sq ft sail for this boat still?
Can you tell me the appropriate mast length and boom/yard lengths?
I am planning on a hollow mast, 1/2" wall, 8 sided octagon, 2.5" across the flats, tapered over the last 6 feet at the top to 1.5"
Does that seem like overkill? it actuallyslightly has less sectional strenth than a 2.25" Square with 1/2" radii on the corners.
Did you sell your boat yet?
