Has anyone out there built a likeness to the Valley Nordkapp as a stripper?

RE: Nordkapp Stripper
Abraxas,
I just sold my plastic Nordkapp and will soon start building a S&G Petrel. I don't know about a fiberglass Nordkapp, but the rotomolded Nordy has a "likeness" to the Petrel. Recessed hatches & cockpit, low rear deck, skeg, 20" wide, fast, responsive and easy to roll. The Night Heron might come close too, but the Petrel looks like (IMHO) the best all around "performance" boat. The Petrel will replace the Nordkapp in my fleet. The Strip Built/S&G Petrel is a foot shorter, but it will also turn easier and be more responsive than an 18 foot boat.
Good Luck,
Chucko

I remembered seeing that this had been done. With a little searching, I found this:

While not the article I remember, it does have pics.
