1975 Easy Rider - needs some TLC- need advice
1975 Easy Rider Kayak, would like to restore the bottom. Scratches and discolored, some deeper scratches but the Kevlar is intact. Looking for some suggestions on how to fix it up

Is the gelcoat faded due to being stored upside down in the sun, or just stained from years of paddling less than clear water or sitting under a bunch of leaves in someone's backyard?
I used a product called Davis FSR to clean up a 1978 Sunfish hull that had been sitting in the woods covered with oak leaves for decades. When I was done it looked like a brand new boat. If you use it just don't get it on the deck rigging it will bleach it. Also don't get it on your hands it is a fairly stron acid but it will not harm gelcoat.
