exposed fiberglass cloth weave
Hey guys, I am pretty much finished my ch17 and doing the final prep before varnish and getting a little nervous... I have a bunch of spots on the boat where I sanded through to the cloth. especially on the sides where the deck glass joins the hull. Should I give the whole boat another coat or two of expoxy and then sand again before I varnish?

Doing the whole boat would be a waste of time, epoxy & money. Just put some epoxy (thin layers) onto the areas which are sanded through. Then carefully sand the spots just enough to fair them into the rest of the hull. For something that localized, a longboard would be perfect.
