sheer clamp planing before hull glassing
I am building in cold weather (Massachusetts) so I'm trying to do anything I can that doesn't involve epoxy in my unheated garage. I have my deck filleted and glassed on the inside, and am almost ready to glass the exterior.
Is there any reason I wouldn't plane my sheer clamps down before glassing the exterior? The hull shape appears to be locked in at this point, so I figure why not (unless someone tells me otherwise..)
Thoughts?

I cannot tell what you are building, but if the interior has been glassed and the deck and hull are seal with a fillet/fiberglass tape, then you can use or plane or I prefer a fairing board to insure a smooth and straight seam.
