Which side of the plywood is up?

I have several sheets of Okoume and Sapelle plywood and it's not clear if one side is preferable.  In some cases the stickers and printing (along the short edge) are on the side with the most interesting grain and on other sheets they are on the side with the plain grain pattern.   I want to put the best grain on the outside -  does it matter what side of the 4x8 sheet that comes from?  Is there and A side and a B side, and how do you tell?

Try to match the grain. One of our boats has a nice red section scarfed to a blond section.

With the high quality of plywood sold by CLC it usually doesn't matter which side is up. I inadvertently wired the sapele rear deck of my daughter's Ganymede wrong side up, but it is still stunningly gorgeous. -Wes
