I see the Peeler is upsidedown in the CLC shop, are they doing repairs? After the CG testing and Wooden Boat show, I'm sure there are scuffs etc to deal with. I'm getting very excited for this boat to become available. Klitz
The finish is holding up---improbably, given the Peeler prototype's rough treatment this year. But we're adding spray rails on the stern quarters, a feature that will be included in kits and plans. Spray tends to climb the sides at the stern at higher speeds. I note that every dory-skiff with similar proportions has spray rails back there, so it must be a common trait.
