Chesapeake 18 deck from plans

I would assume that when installing the deck from plans, that you cover the entire boat and then cut out the cockpit. The manual and book were confusing when installing it they seemed to only show pictures of it being installed when it was cut.

Cut out the cockpit first from the panels then install.
