West 407 with MAS Resin and Hardener
Is it OK to use this with my MAS product?

Oh rats! I'll have to return it. I was hoping I could use the West 407 micro balloons with my MAS. My local West Marine does not keep MAS on the shelf.

To clarify: I'm using MAS resin and hardener. I want to know if I can use West 407 microballoon filler. It seems to me that it would be OK since that is just a filler/fairing compound, but I want to be sure.

You are good to go! You can mix the fillers all you want. You can't mix an epoxy resin from one manufacturer with the hardener from a different manufacturer, unless you have an advanced degree in chemical engineering.

Jeff,
Your can use West System (105+407) over your already cured MAS epoxy but you absolutely can not mix the two brands. They have different chemical formulations and different mixing ratios.
