Another Mill Creek Foot Brace Question

When installing the aft braces:  how are they attached to the riser blocks?  The riser blocks are glued onto the inner bilge panel.  I can not find anything in the manual or plans.  I have also looked at the various build photos posted by others and just don't see anything.  I have to assume I use wood screws into the riser blocks.  I thought about buying another set of the glue on studs and carefully bending the flanges around the riser blocks.  Then glue them as normal.

RE: Another Mill Creek Foot Brace Question

I used 1/4-20 brass inserts and 1/4-20 x 1 1/2" Truss Head screws. Wood screws would be fine to use, just drill a pilot hole or use the "drill, fill, drill" method.

Dude, you are the man!  That is a very simple but elegant solution and you can switch out the rails anytime and not have to worry about over drilling your blocks.  Plus, parts like that can be found at my local HD.
