OK no photos but I completed my San O.
The varnish finish is OK nothing amazing but it seems sound.
Today I took it out on a local small secret Loch. The conditions were really glassy. I am really pleased with the speed of the board. My older foam core boards are much slower. The wind was still but I managed to paddle so it felt as if there was a light wind on my face.
I always find knee paddling a problem and usually paddle prone but this boad should help me to crack that.
I cant wait to take it to the sea and hope to test it on runs this weekend.

James,
We want pictures and we want them NOW! Congrat's on finishing. The San O's are fast, aren't they! I've only paddled the 14 and it was stable enough for me to do a bit of knee paddling, and I only surf shortboards and never knee paddle! Yours should be a bit more stable. Looking forward to seeing it.
